Where we are
Neos is in an early, pioneering phase. A small core team lives at Neos Center. Life here is often quiet and intimate, with bursts of activity when land partners join us or a retreat is on. It suits people who thrive in tranquility and nature and love building something that is emerging from the ground up. We come from all backgrounds, and together we are creating a blueprint for healthy, sustainable living.
Who we are looking for
People who are highly competent, proactive and self-leading: you sense what needs doing and take gentle initiative. We value emotional intelligence, empathy and humility, and a grounded, emotionally mature presence over a dominant one. Above all, your heart is genuinely moved to serve the mission, rather than personal gain, steering Neos towards a different vision, or using it as a stepping stone for your own projects.
Language
English is our team language and essential for every role. Roles in property operations and business also need fluent Portuguese, for work with authorities, suppliers, contractors, admin and legal matters. If you join the team on site for the long term, we encourage you to learn Portuguese over time.
How hiring works
We review applications every two weeks. If there is a mutual fit, we start with a call. The next step is usually a one-week lived trial on the land. If you live outside Europe and a week here is not feasible, we hold extra calls instead, and when you join there is a three-month probation for both sides, with short notice to leave if it is not right.
