A life reconnected
Neos exists to show, and to inspire, a life reconnected: with ourselves, with each other, and with the living world around us.
For all our progress, much of modern life still runs on competition and survival. The land is tired and many people feel cut off from nature and from one another. We believe there is another way, and that it does not mean leaving the modern world behind.
Neos is a modern life, fully lived: in nature and in community, without giving up comfort, work or ambition. Not a commune and not a theory, but a real place where this life is practised every day, and where anyone can come and feel it for themselves.

To catalyse the elevation of human consciousness and its embodiment on earth, through an environment, a culture and a community that make the shift real, lived and transmissible.
Vision
To create heaven on earth, a living reality of what human life becomes when consciousness is embodied, the land is sacred, and beauty guides everything we create.
Neos Village is where this vision becomes daily life, not a theory or a plan, but homes, gardens and community taking shape on the land, protected for generations to come.
The land
One estate, two sides of the water
Neos lies on a 410 hectare estate in the Alentejo, near Montemor-o-Novo: cork and holm oak montado, olive groves, granite, a river and lakes.
The water divides the land into two sides that work as one whole. North of the lake is the public side, Neos Center, where guests come to rest, learn and heal. South of the lake is the residential side, Neos Village, where people will live this way every day.

Neos Center
The first part of Neos is already open. In whitewashed farmhouses under the cork oaks, Neos Center hosts retreats, programs and gatherings through the year.
It is where people first meet this way of life, and it is the economic heart of the project: the work of the Center helps the village grow, and many future villagers will find their purpose there.

In the making
Neos Village
Neos Village will be 144 homes on about 158 hectares, for around 300 people. The homes are grouped in clusters and designed around the trees, so the montado stays the main character.
The village is meant to be stewarded by the people who live in it, and shaped with them from the start.
Nature first
A village that gives more than it takes
Building always has an impact. Our work is to make that impact regenerative, so the land is more alive every year Neos exists: more water, richer soil, more wildlife.

Build with the montado, never over it
Cork and holm oaks, olive groves and open meadows make one of the richest living landscapes in Europe. Homes are placed around the trees.

Bring the water back
Water-retaining landscapes, living soil and new planting return moisture to the land, the springs and the river.

Grow food that builds soil
Organic, regenerative growing that leaves the ground richer each season, even on the hard soils of the Alentejo.

Leave room for the wild
Stretches of forest, meadow and river are left to nature, with quiet corridors for deer, birds and everything else that lives here.

Provide for ourselves
Our own food, water and energy, so the village depends as little as possible on outside inputs.

The road ahead
How Neos is being built
Step by step: the Center first, the village after it, with nature and the community shaping each stage.
Today
Neos Center is open and the land is already in our care. Neos Village is in planning and permitting with the municipality and Turismo de Portugal.
Permitting
Permitting runs on two tracks. Initial permits are expected in 2027.
Building
Construction starts in 2028.
Moving in
The first villagers arrive in early 2029.
